I Love It!
I love it when I catch a bee mid-flight. I have a few of these photos and each time I capture one it just makes me smile, I don’t know why. I think it’s perhaps because their little legs are dangling or perhaps because these bumble bees look as though they shouldn’t be able to fly.
When I downloaded my photos yesterday this one brought a smile to my face, I thought I’d share a smile with you today!
What brings a smile to your face?

I love the way you draw attention to little things that in turn make me smile :-) Simply brilliant.

How about…seeing the sun beam down on a warm fall day for the first time in two weeks! And having a completely dry September day!

The scent of cinnamon, it reminds me of baking very tasty apple pies…

So many simple little things make me smile, this morning my toddler trying to share some bread with the cat made me smile, as did looking outside and seeing my winter bed which I covered with row cover last night. It looks like a little covered wagon…
Your bee photo also made me smile. :-)

By the way, I just read your “About” info… hello from a fellow NE Ohio gardener! :) I count myself as zone 6b since I’m fairly close to the lake (in Lakewood, just west of Cleveland) but I work near Brecksville. Any chance you’re close by? Just curious–I love finding gardeners who are close by, and look forward to following along with your gardens via the blog!
