Watermelon and Computers
My computer is still down, in fact, I’m waiting for my new one to arrive (they say Thursday *YAY*). Until then, for ease, I’m using phone photos and my laptop. I harvested this beauty the other day, it wasn’t quite ripe, but it was still delicious.
I’ll be so happy when my computer shows up and I can get back to work. Until then, I’m using my time to paint the dining room (photos of that when I’m back up and running at full speed).
What are you doing this week?

Susy, I am slowly transitioning from an outdated computer to a new computer that I bought last year. It’s a laptop but will be multipurpose in use. I dumped my TV cable as it was just getting too expensive and well, with Amazon prime, Hulu, and YouTube there really isn’t a need for cable any more. With the help of HDMI cables, the laptop will be connected to a 32 inch TV for that purpose. When I want to do computer work, the screen will be switched through a HDMI switch box to a smaller screen. Transferring all my personal information from the old computer to the new will be the challenge.
We are just a couple weeks away from the first killing frost date in Nebraska. So the last of the tomatoes are on the list to be harvested and potatoes will be lifted. Even though the potato bed was overrun with weeds the harvest actually looks like it will be pretty good. I harvest a few a week ago and boy were they good. Hopefully, the rains will stop long enough for me to get them all harvested.
Have a great day in the Fall harvesting season.

The last time I had a computer die, I bought a new one on line from a trusted vendor.
Took 6 weeks to arrive, had little communication, had to threaten them……but at least once it did arrive, it has worked well, considering how much I honestly, totallly and really hate Windows 10.
I hope yours shows up much sooner than mine did…
