Friday Favorite: Fresh Snow
One of my favorite things is a fresh coating of snow. It makes everything lighter and brighter, especially when the sun shines! Earlier this week, we got a few inches of snow.
Sadly, we’re supposed to get 2″ of rain today, so it will all melt away, leaving behind an icky brown mess and there will be no white Christmas.
Do you live in an area with snow?

I saw a white squirrel today which may be the only white thing here in Des Moines, Iowa, on Christmas day. It’s nice that you have some snow. Pretty pictures!

Susy, we have had 14 inches of snow so far this year. Sadly due to a warming trend it is all gone without any forecast of more for a white Christmas. So I guess here in Nebraska, We will be having a brown Christmas. It did have a nice Christmas look right after Thanksgiving but alas it just wasn’t to be.
See catalogs keep arriving and thoughts are becoming more and more about next year’s garden planning. Soon it will be time to hunker down in the seed starting area and a new garden year will begin.
Have a great Christmas and a Happy New year.

What a beautiful sight. I’m originally from northern MN and we always had a white Christmas; but since moving to MA, it’s been hit or miss. We just had over 3″ rain, so it’s looking like a brown Christmas this year. . .
