She’s a Beauty + a Calendar Giveaway
I don’t know why I’m still taken aback by their beauty when I receive my calendars in the mail. I know the quality of Lulu printing, I’ve seen the photos a million times, yet seeing them in print and running my hands over the glossy paper makes me smile.
I spent some time earlier this week wrapping them up and mailing off the ones that go to friends and relatives far away. I love that they will have a little piece of my home showing in their home each month of the year!
At the end of December my calendar will be hung right beside my computer where I see it all day long. A big thanks to those of you who purchase my calendar as I get a few dollars from each one. This helps a lot with the expenses for keeping this blog going and helps me keep this blog ad-free! Where do you typically hang the calendar in your home?
right on the side of the refrigerator I have 2 little girls so we’re always writing down school activities so as to not forget them.The kitchen seems to be the main area of the house so we find it handy to hang the calendar there.

Considering I’m still in the middle of renovating, and don’t actually have walls in all the rooms, my current calendar is only on the computer :)
Traditionally, though, the calendar gets hung in the kitchen – on a wall, if there is room, on the inside of a cupboard door if not – such as in my last house, where there was literally NO wall space in the kitchen.
The plan in this house is to hang it on the door which will lead to the back addition – once the wall, door frame and door are there!

Ours hangs in the kitchen hallway right next to the backpacks and lunch boxes. I think I probably check the calendar 5 or 6 times a day. There’s ALWAYS something going on!!

What a fabulous idea! Your calendar is beautiful! We have two in our kitchen. One by the phone is always barns and another inside a kitchen cabinet to keep track of my boy’s meds, etc.

I stopped hanging one in my home because every time I’d go to work, I would need something off it! So, I hang it beside my desk at work now and have a small travel one for my purse.

Susy, I was a late winner of one of your calendars last year. I have it right by my computer and mark off each day as it passed into history. Your choice of pictures or combination of pictures was awesome. It became a focal point to intiate dreams of gardening and plans of gardening. This year’s winner will indeed enjoy the calendar. I know because I enjoyed mine all last year.

Our calender is hanging on the side of the fridge, close to traffic and the phone. Everyone knows how to read it and leave a note if something needs to be added.

We just moved and don’t have a spot picked out for our calendar. I’m thinking by the side door. There’s just enough space between the door and the first kitchen cabinet. Otherwise, I keep one at work on my file cabinet. Though, with your beautiful pictures, I think I’d keep it next to my computer monitor to look at more often!

I love your calender.. its gorgeous.
I hang several.. I have one by the computer desk on the wall and another hangs in my kitchen on the door that leads to the basement.

I would love to hang your calendar in my kitchen. My family spends loads of time making food and eating! Important dates are not forgetten when they are on the kitchen calendar.
Thanks for sharing your photos online. They are truely beautiful and interesting. You recently wrote that you take between 25 – 100 photos a day. I’ve been thinking lots about that and will try to follow your lead. I think it will help me take my photography to the next level.

I hang mine on the wall near my breakfast table so I can glance up at what’s in store for me for the day since I’m quite forgetful. Although this only works if I remember to write them down on the calendar lol!

I LOVE your calendar. I bought one last year and hung it right by my computer. The bummer thing was, I moved to NH and didn’t take it with me so I didn’t get to enjoy most of the months. Next years I will be sure to have with me so I can enjoy the beautiful photos.

Just inside the doorway of the master bedroom walk-in closet – that way I get to see what today’s date is and where I am in the week/month. But then I have another calendar above the desk at work. And sometimes I’ve been known to hang a third calendar on the wall by the computer at home!

I always have a calendar hanging on the side of the refrigerator. This is the one that is just for beauty! We also have a day planner that keeps track of appointments and to-do lists. But, that’s not the fun one!
